Pros: techs are friendly and the salon is clean. cons: lack of technical skill, sloppy work, dangerous electric filing, inexperienced ignorant techs, no fluent English speakers in the salon (poor communication). My acrylic manicure lasted 1 day. The next day I returned to repair the nail that snapped off after 1 day and the tech used the drill and her fingernail to rip off the remaining acrylic. She filed my nail bed so low that it aches all the time. I was yelling ouch that hurts and pulling my hand away during the process but the tech just laughed. They told me to be careful when I left when this is their fault! I'm making a formal complaint to the NC Cosmetology board because they need to be shut down or fined and retrained.

I wouldn't go back to this place if you paid me! The lack of professionalism is outrageous! No customer service and the manager is rude and disrespectful. I've report them to the better business bureau. While being serviced they rushed my nails and did a poor job and when you tell them what you like they don't care, they tell you it's fine! I wouldn't refer them to my blind grandmother!

Daniel Bailey — 1 starMy girlfriend drove back to Wilmington , crying, because the inexperienced non english speaking man who "did" her nails, caused her to bleed by poking HIS nail under hers, on purpose. She attempted to gain the attention of any other person working there and none would accept her gaze. Finally, he attempted to assuage the problem by shoving alcohol soaked cotton balls into her nails.
It looks like someone ground her nails down with a 4" makita grinder. She was able to get out of his grasp and walk out, unfinished of course...
Upon calling, and getting, what I was told is, the manager...the only platitude she gave was "sometimes the nails bleed when we do them"
Thats a direct quote....
So, if you want your nails to be made to bleed by an inexperienced illegal immigrant with no english (and probably no health certificate)..this is the place for you.
No, she didnt pay, she ran out when she could finally get him to let go of her hand.
P.S. She had been using this salon for months previous...there was a new set of people in there today...they must have shipped the experienced people out to somewhere else.
