Never ever again. Terrible experience. First appt he walks in. Asks me what I think my skin condition is. Then says NOTHING. Walks out comes back in. Hands me a printed sheet from google w definition of contact dermatitis. Prescribed steroid cream that was TOO STRONG to use around eyes and never shared that this product burns. I suffered for a whole night burning eyes. Follow up. He said he didn’t tell me it burned because if he did I would feel the burn. Really? Then says he’s going to give me an injection. I said no way. What’s in this injection. He says “pay to play “. I’ll tell you. After I inject you. Nurse was in the room. This man has no compassion no bedside manner. I had no choice w insurance but to go to him. Be very careful and don’t trust him. I told him eucrisa cream used on babies is what I need. He said nope I’m giving you elidel. Elidel causes cancer. Bad doctor.

I had to switch to a different dermatologist due to an insurance change, and the next option was Dr. Kittay. My first appointment will be my last ever appointment with this dermatologist. The front desk receptionists are not friendly. You are definitely not greeted by a smile or a “hi, how may I help you”. They look very depressed and upset. When it came time for my appointment I can definitely say Dr. Kittay has a unprofessional sense of humor and likes to be sarcastically rude. Also made me feel very uncomfortable during the appointment. I sat down and told him about my mild acne journey. I went over what did and what did not work on my skin . Then all of a sudden he said “be right back” and left the room. I honestly didn’t know what was going on or if he even listened to a word I said. The receptionist randomly came in and handed me a bunch of papers on medication to read until he comes back. 15 minutes later he came back into the room asking “did you read the papers?” ... I told him I wouldn’t use any of these medications that are listed due to the fact that they were mostly for severe acne.. then he wanted to be sarcastic and act like I had no clue what I was talking about. When I’ve tried all of the medications before! Then he would say do you have any other questions? I would reply with a question then he would say “refer to the paper I just gave you”.... like seriously?! In the end he prescribed me a topical treatment and pills , which being said was the same exact topical treatment I just told him I had tried out with my last dermatologist and did not work for my skin. I feel he didn’t listen or take in consideration anything I said the entire appointment. If you are a teen struggling with acne I definitely suggest a more understanding and kind practice

MY WEDDING WENT ON
I am SUPER satisfied with Dr. Kitty's courteous professionalism, bedside manners and my overall results. Last summer I got into poison ivy. I visited my family doctor twice as well as the Danbury E.R. I was prescribed numerous of medications & cremes but absolutely nothing worked. Having been affected for a month, over 60% of my body had painful blisters. I just knew I wasn't going to be that beautiful bride. Just 5 days before my wedding I called Dr. Kittay's office and his receptionist was so courteous, she informed me that their office had an opening that day but unfortunately I couldn't make it but they did however work me in the following day. My wait time was 15 or 20 minutes. Not long at all. During my consultation Dr. Kittay gave me an injection of steroids & reassured me I would see improvements overnight. The prior physicians could not get my dosage correct. I felt hopless, Dr. Kittay was my skincare savior. Within 3 days my skin was completely cleared. My wedding went on as planned, I felt as beautiful as ever and confident as I walked down the isle all thanks to Dr. Kittay.
THANK YOU DR. KITTAY

So my three year old son had to have a biopsy done and he didn’t take the time to numb my son properly. He just did a punch biopsy while my son is screaming away and pushing off the bed he told to the nurse to focus on my son’s hand and not his head because if he falls he is not going no where but the ground. Horrible person no bedside manner just an ass. He is so disrespectful to staff..

This is a good doctor. Yes, you will wait a long time to get an appointment and yes, you will wait to be seen in a small office. However, this doctor will see you at your pace, you will not feel rushed and he will answer all your questions. That is what you should look for in a doctor, especially nowadays when doctors are more like psychic, they barely look at you.
