I went because of their high reviews compared to other nail salons in the area and when I arrived I realized they were by appointment only. The girl was nice enough to say she would take me when I came in and I currently had dip on my nails. When she went to remove it, she ripped half of my nails off because she was very aggressive using a cuticle cutter to remove it. She then had me wait for another person to finish that would do my new dip manicure and after 45 minutes of waiting without being taken, I had to get up and leave because I had other things to do.
What she should’ve done was say to me that it would be this long of a wait plus more (as I understand they are by appointment only) and if she had said this to me I would’ve gone elsewhere rather than getting half of my nails ripped off and now having to pay more to put extensions on at another nail salon.

I loved everything about this Nail & Spa venue!
From the moment I walked in the atmosphere was warm, very clean & welcoming!
Ellen was the spa technician that attended to me and was great! She and all the other staff were attentive , supportive and patient in helping me figure out the best fit for my nail, spa needs!
I will DEFINITELY be returning here & encourage you to COME NOW & enjoy the amazing atmosphere as well!!!

Yes!!!! I found my new nail salon which is now my favorite and definitely a walking distance from my home. The place is nice and clean. Yes! They practice social distancing and CDC guidelines and taken place at the salon. It so calm and relaxing in there. I came today to get a pedicure and the lady hooked up my toe nails up. I got a good complete spa pedicure. It was worth the price. The price is very reasonable compared to where I used to go to in Brooklyn. Thank you so much to all the staff members of Mayras Nail Salon. I will see you ladies again for sure!!!!!
