I had an amazing experience here. I had really long hair and decided to cut it short, so I showed them the picture and they were able to reproduce it exactly the way I wanted it. This is the best highlighting that I have had in a long time!! They were extremely professional and friendly. I was a little nervous about getting a hair cut from a student, but Brenda was wonderful! She listened to me and put me at ease. The instructors were awesome as well!!! I would expect to pay $200 for a cut, style, and full color weave at a salon of this quality, but the price through groupon is so reasonable!! I am definitely recommending this place to my friends and colleagues, and I look forward to returning for touch ups and to try other services. Thank you so much for making me feel beautiful!!

If you're needing a pedicure just for an everyday reasons then it's a great place to go. Great price and everyone is very friendly. But expect to spend a bit longer than you would at a regular salon as they are students and therefore take a bit longer.
Parking availability isn't great so expect that there could be a wait for a parking spot or a bit of a walk. This seemed to be worse earlier in the day (before 7pm).
I would recommend American Beauty Academy for a pedicure as a "just a treat for yourself" kind of thing. And as I don't treat myself often enough to pedicures, I'm thinking I found a great way to do just that.

I've had a great experience here! This is a great place to go to. The instructors are very knowledgeable and quick to respond to students questions. At some schools I've gone to in the past, there has been a long wait for the instructors because the ratio of instructors to students. And the instructors were constantly checking everyone's work. It was wonderful. I could tell how much they really care. I was very impressed with everything and everyone. Otilia did a great job with my hair! It looks gorgeous! It was her first full weave too! Color is striking! I'll definitely be back!

Narda stayed 5 hours after her shift to do my hair when the other girl didn’t show up. She had her threee kids and didn’t eat dinner to do my hair. She sewed in my weave and it was so beautiful!!! I love it. Would totally go to her again. She’s truly amazing
