I recently came to get my hair done at Salon Tribeca a few weeks ago. I made an appointment for balayage highlights. My natural hair is fairly dark and I came in with a pre existing balayage that I got done in November of 2017 which was a caramel color, I was looking to go lighter and ashier overall. When I went in for my appointment the stylist and I went over what I wanted to get done. I showed her various pictures and I made sure she was aware of my previous hair color history and that we were on the same page. She seemed to understand what I wanted to have done and quoted me at $230. I've been to higher end salons so the price wasn't too surprising to me except that this salon is not a high end salon. The salon is small and has about 10 stations with 4 shampoo chairs. Now here is what went wrong during my visit as she was drying my hair I noticed how warm toned it looked. The only difference I had was that the highlight placement was simply higher and and it now looked like I had an ombré! Scary I know, I asked the stylist if she could add some dark pieces in order to break up what looked like an ombré and so that it would add some sort of dimension. She stated that she wouldn't have enough time since she had other clients and had pretty much triple booked. Not to mention when she toned my hair she had me waiting 30 minutes while she highlighted another client. She decided that she could make time and fix my hair but that she would have to charge me an additional $70 for adding lowlights to break apart the ombré that SHE had created. Being dissatisfied and unhappy I let her add the dark pieces throughout my hair just so I could feel comfortable to go out in public and go to work. She added the lowlights and put me under the dryer while she then had her next client that needed a root touch up. I waited and she had another stylist wash my hair the second time. Finally she was ready for me and began to dry my hair for the second time and style it and that's when I knew I hated it. At this point I just wanted to go home I had been there for 5 hours for something that wasn't even what I wanted. My hair was dry, dead towards the ends, and looked like I had went to a stylist that was still learning. This is where it gets even worst, so I went home to feel it out and see if I could pretend to like it or even if it would possible wash out in a few days to a nice color. I was wrong! I spoke to Nicki about my hair and that it wasn't what I wanted. Her response was that it was what I asked for and that I left happy. She stated that she spent a lot of time on my hair and that she did the best that she could. She spent all that time on my hair because she had 3 clients overlapping and booked at the same time which is not my fault. I explained to her how it looked nothing like the pictures and that I was unhappy with the results. She pretty much blew me off and didn't bother to try to compromise with me or offer me a refund with the horrible job she had done. I then spoke to the owner of the salon Desiree and explained to her what had happened. Apparently, Nicki had already came in contact with her and told "her side" of the story. Desiree came off very unprofessional and pretty much hung up on me after I told her that my hair looks nothing like the picture that was shown and I asked for balayage highlights not an ombré. She got upset that I had to explain to her what a balayage was and that's when she hung up. After speaking to many PROFESSIONAL and EXPERIENCED hair stylists about fixing my hair the majority of them ask what happened and after I tell them they are in complete shock about the experience I had at Salon Tribeca. Many salon owners know that the customer should always be satisfied and if they are unsatisfied that they should offer a full refund or fix the customers hair themselves since their employees have little to no customer service skills. $300 wasted at a hair salon that does not care if their clients are satisfied nor do they care to give you what you ask for.

Sent my wife to get her hair done at Salon Tribeca while I went to Victoria Gardens. Prices were fair and she was out in no time. Recommend this hair salon if you're in the Rancho Cucamonga area.
