It had been a while since my last visit to Beauty at Hand. I was in town, had some spare time, and needed some pampering. I made an appointment with Beauty at Hand for the next day. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had been remodeled with new pedicure chairs, floors, etc. I was met by very friendly professional techs. My pedicure and manicure were beautifully and professionally completed - well worth the money! I would recommend this business to anyone wanting a pleasant relaxing experience.

NEVER USE THIS SALON! I got a gel manicure that the girl promised would stay on for 2-3 weeks. Not only could I have painted my nails better and in the lines, it all started chipping off 4 days later. Since I was on a business trip and couldn't come in right then, I came back in the first day I arrived back to ask if they could reimburse me or repaint the nails. The lady said no because I didn't come in with in 3 days and tried to blame it on my nails and skin on why they didn't stay (but I've had gel manicures from other places that have stayed on for 2-3 weeks). This is the worst service I've ever had at a salon and do not recommend it to anyone. What a rip off.

I will not be returning to Beauty at Hand. I am new to the area and decided to give this place a try after finding them on Groupon. I was not impressed with the pedicure at all. I don't think I was even in the chair for a full 45 minutes. She barely did anything to remove the dead skin from my feet. The massage you usually get probably lasted 5 minutes total (not 5 min. each leg). After that I got a gel manicure. This was the worst gel manicure I have ever had! My one thumb nail has bubbles in it. It's not smooth and flat like it should be. The polish on my pointer finger cracked across the middle on day three! In addition to the poor service, the staff was not very kind or personable. I would NOT recommend Beauty at Hand.

I haven't had nails done in about 5 years but had decided it was time to start again. I picked this place because it's in the same center as where I grocery shop and had noticed it a few times. I walked in and there was an older Asian lady sitting by herself. I told her I was looking for a set of pink & white and she managed to talk me into basic acrylic. She quoted me $30 but since I want white tips it will be $5 more. I thought $35 was definitely high priced for basic acrylic but figured it must have changed in price since it had been so long. It's been 6 days and a few nails had already begun to separate from the nail. So much for the extra cost of basic acrylic, waste of money and time! Over priced, will not return. Beware ! Unless you like basic.

Not too bad...everything was pretty rushed not much time to relax. Owner was very nice. Got a special they had on their website but was charged extra when there for every little thing including just taking the Polish off I already had on.
