They are not nice, you feel like it's a punishment to do your nails there. My card always get declined there. I will never ever go back there

TERRIBLE and rushed! Got a simple manicure and it looks like a 5 year old did my nails.

Extremely Professional, Courteous, Very Clean, Secured, and super friendly. Good prices and MANY SERVICES to choose from! If you havent visited or called Handkey Nails, do so, you wont be sorry!

I have been in New York for a year now and I have gotten my nails done everywhere in New York except for this one place who has a 4.7 star rating so I decided to wait to go to th Handkey nail salon and honestly the worst place I have ever been to in my life. I have been to over 100 salons in my life including ones in Australia and I am appalled at the ‘professionalism’ of this salon. I first walked in today (October 3rd 2017), and it took the ladies 10 months to decide how much a set of acrylics would be. Then, the lady that did my nails asked if I had a disability because my nails are short (I bite them) and then all of the nail ladies come up to me and kept grabbing my hands laughing because my nails were short. When the girl that was doing my nails left excess powder or had a bump or something she said ‘if you have a problem we can talk about this later so shut up and let me finish my job.’ At that rate I honestly didn’t care what they thought I was I just wanted to get my nails completed and get the hell out of there. When I showed the lady what colour I wanted my nails, it was a charcoal grey type colour and I ended up with blue nails as well as when I asked for a coffin shape she told me it was $30 extra. When I payed, the women that worked there charged me $200 when it was meant to be $45. The way they did this was they said my card declined 3 times and then the 4th went through. As I was walking out checked my account and it said I had been changed the amount 3 times and then the 4th was the ‘only one’ that was approved... eventually they gave me a refund after 20 minutes of showing them my account balance and how many times I’ve been charged. I will never be going back to this place and I am so appalled and disgusted at how rude the people that worked here were. I DO NOT recommend.
