By far the worse nail salon I have been to. Product seem to be on the cheap side, it took 5 coats for my gel to look decent and sadly enough it chipped In less than a week. Also, any place that harass customer for tips is definitely a no no on my book.

I have been going to Pinky nails for five years. They are the best nail salon on the upper east side. Always walk away with a great looking mani/pedi. Highly recommend!

TL,DR: place has unhygienic practices and rushes clients if they don't get gel nail polish.
My friend took me here to get Mani/pedi (we had a treat yo'self day) because she's always had a good experience here. My experience was very different. Two weekends later I'm still angry about it. Such surprising treatment for a place on UES.

No frills place that gets the job done well. If you’re into low maintenance environments and just want to get your nails done and get out, this place is for you. Staff is very friendly as well. Cash tip only FYI.
