I was so nervous to try a new salon since we move with my husbands job every few months and in turn, any relationship I build with my stylist becomes useless in a new town. I’m so glad I found Proteus where I was able to go to their website to see exactly who specializes in what and could read a little background on them. That in and of itself was comforting to know. Reviews were great as well. I went in yesterday to have Courtney highlight my hair and it was the best appt I’ve ever had. The color was on point for what I was wanting without being unrealistic and she made the entire experience supremely enjoyable. I left with a smile, hug, and fantastic hair! Consult with the stylist first as far as price and time given what you want for hair as prices go up depending on the longer length and darkness of your hair. Prices online are mere suggestions. Spent 300 for a trim and something that isn't quite a balayage yet. Expertly done, whatever it is, took hours, but not quite what I wanted, yet I'm happy with it. Went back for 2nd treatment and like it even more. The stylist and I are gradually working towards silver while keeping length, health, and softness. 2nd treatment was about 250, I assume because I was already a bit blonde and some of the length came off. Beautiful building in Downtown Odessa. Doubles as an art gallery and the layout is stunning.
