My son and I went into the school this last Friday. I am well aware these are students and I accept that. HOW ever we ended up having a actual instructor or " educator" as she kept calling her self , because the student who was suppose to cut our hair had to leave. So this " educator " cut my hair and my son's. Oh my goodness. She took a hour cutting my hair, and its noticeably longer on one side than the other. I have gotten the same cut for years, and never have I had it turn out quite like this. She was suppose to leave the length on the sides just trim it up, she chopped a good inch off. My son's hair cut had a area where it was longer than the rest as well, and she took a half hour with him. I did call in too see if they could not get me back in and was told they were to busy that day.. Well they were closed the next day, and I had to go to work the next. So my option was wait until they could get me back in or even out my hair my self. SO if this is the kind of crappy job a instructor does it makes me worry about what standard they hold the students to.

This place is very not worth schedule an appointment. They do not have good customer service. They cancel my daughter appointments and call you a couple hours before her appointment. The school lead hair stylist did ever care. Please find some where else to go. My daughter cried and cried on the phone to me. They do not see no one after a certain time and we reschedule because of that before. I got my hair color and they push my time within a couple of hours before as well. My daughter in school and really want them because she waited and waited. They should have someone on the side just in case thing like this happen. That person really did not care at all and made me very upset that the fact she did want to help us. Not to say my daughter was on the bus in the winter time trying to get there. They need to train them on customer service.

If I could give less than a one star I would. My best friend is getting married in 10 days. She asked for blonde highlights and they absolutely butchered her hair last night. Do NOT go here. When it was nearing the end of her appointment, they took her payment and didn't even dry her hair! She left the Salon with WET hair... (Who would want to dry their product when it looks like this) Also, isn't there suppose to be a professional checking the students products??? This soon to be bride had to sit in a PROFESSIONAL Stylists chair last night until 11 PM getting this fixed. The Professional stylist said this was the worst she has ever seen. UNbelievable!!!!

I have currently been working at the Academy of Beauty Professionals in Madison for about 4 months now and I must say, I love it here! It is so cool watching each student come to school and succeed and have fun while doing it. Everyone is so friendly and supportive of each other's goals. The students are amazing and the educators truly LOVE teaching! There are always new ideas we come up with to make the students get the best education possible. I would highly recommend getting your Cosmetology, Esthetician, or Nail Tech License here!

I was craving a good facial, and saw this new cosmetology school had opened on Odana Road, so I decided to give them a try. They got me in right away and I was assigned to Lexi. The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the professional staff and led to a private room. The room was clean and conducive to the facial procedure. Lexi was thorough, asked for feedback, and was very, very good! I drifted off at one point. So relaxing! The facial cost $29, before tip, and last a good hour. I will definitely be back.
