I am very disappointed!
The first time I ever went into that nail salon, I went for a pedicure with my mother. I paid the full price to have my feet shaved, and they wanted to charge me extra on top of that because my feet were especially dry with dead skin. That is wrong! When someone already is paying extra, you don't double the extra charge.
The second time I went in, I went in for Leg waxing. It was my first time ever getting my legs waxed. The brochure shows the charge for leg waxing so the customer knows exactly what the charge is. Well, the lady waxing my legs, Lily, wanted to charge me extra, because my hair grows in thick. Why do you think women choose to get their legs waxed? In the end, I told her I will not pay extra money, when it is not indicated on the brochure. So I did not pay extra. I felt that the Salon wants to rip people off, and charge more than what is listed in their prices.
Now just today, I went to go get my eyebrows waxed, & a mani/pedi. I made an appointment with Lily, and she decided to take a client without looking at the book to see if she had any appointments. So when I arrived, I was told by her, that I needed to wait 30 minutes before she would be available, or I can get my eyebrows done with another person. Well having an appointment, and having to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time, is unacceptable. I most certainly was going to have my eyebrows waxed by someone else. I'm very disappointed at the lack of professionalism, and lack of courtesy to your clients.
I gave 3 chances to this nail salon, and every time I was very disappointed. Sadly, I will not be coming back. That's really a shame for their business.
I am giving 2 stars, because at least the work that's been done, came out nicely.
I hope the salon reads this review, and reconsiders how to charge their clients. And I believe that Lily should be spoken with by the owner.
