I’m not going to go into exactly what my problem there was, but it was regarding dishonesty from an employee who apparently no longer is employed there. It was regarding permanent make-up. Management did not handle the situation well when I called, as I was told to go to Columbia, SC and re-pay to have my permanent make-up fixed when it should have been properly applied the first time after spending over $200 dollars for a ‘touch-up.’ Would nor recommend based on dishonesty and lack of professionalism with management.
I will say this, I have gotten one hair-cut here in the past from someone recommended to me. I liked it. Did I think it was worth $50? No. Over priced due to the location of the salon. I spend my time and money going to Signature Salon in Clearwater, SC where a haircut is $25 with tip. I don’t just trust anyone with my hair, either (given the layers and long length). Robin Taylor who works at Signature is fantastic.

This is a nice salon full of talented people who care about making you look and feel better! They also participate in their downtown community and help to make Augusta a wonderful town to live in. The products they stock are also good. And check out their Halloween events.

I was there getting my hair and make up done for military ball that was held in Augusta (I live in Atlanta). Ashley did an absolute amazing job on my makeup! McKayla did a decent job on my hair although she had to curl it twice and I had to curl it a third time once arriving back at the hotel. But, she applied a white powdery substance to the top outer parts of my hair for the style she was doing. This stuff has been equivalent to super glue for the past month. I have not been able to get a brush through the hair on the right side of my head at all. I called a week later to see if they could help. They said I could come in for a free deep conditioning but I work 14 hours a day and I’m two and a half hours away so this just isn’t doable. However, my problem isn’t with the girl who did my hair or the salon itself, it is with the manager who is refusing to reimburse me for my salon visit tomorrow, where I may have to have extensions if my hair has to be cut. My hair is almost 3 feet long and the matted hair is right behind my ear so if it has to be cut, I will loose at least a foot and a half of length, if not more. They are saying that they don’t know what I did to my hair over the course of that week and they are not responsible, when in reality I spent more of my own money on countless conditioning products that obviously did not help take this product out. I am livid!

Halo provided the best hair cut experience I have had in years. I procrastinated getting my hair cut for two years because of horrible past experiences. My hair is naturally curly and having the option to get a deva curl certified stylist was amazing. This was my first deva cut and Ashley did the most amazing job. She explained everything to me as she was doing it, and my hair has never looked this good. Embracing my curls has been a challenge, and Ashley taught me how to properly care for them and make them look the best that they can. Thank you so much! I can't wait to come back!

I've received 2 awesome waxes from Jessa! Little to no pain with very minimal hair growth in a 6 week period. Jessa is extremely friendly and creates a relaxing, comfortable environment. Also, you can't beat the price! Least expensive wax for the best results!! Will continue to frequent Halo A Salon & Spa for all future waxing needs!
