I made appointments for my daughter and I for 5:15 pm. We were having our hair blown out first across the street. I walked across the street and was there at 5:20. I was abruptly informed that we missed our appointments and others took our place. Brianna, receptionist, said she called. I looked at my phone and she called me at 5:18, when I was walking across the street. The nice man from the blow dry place tried to call the owner, John, on our behalf but to no avail. So much for a special treat for my daughter. I have never been and will never go back. My daughter was a regular and will not go back either.

The atmosphere is hands down stunning, but the staff has something to be desired. The lady that was assigned to me was bliingual but she was so concerned with helping another staff member who only spoke spanish that she neglected to do her job. I definitely didnt get what I paid for but I didnt want to make a scene. The asian lady at the register cannot add to save her life. I had to help her along after she tried to figure out the pricing repeatedly. I watched another girl answer her cell phone while giving someone a pedicure and then ended the call quickly when the manager came over. Unprofessional staff...total shame as this was my first and last visit. I think this place needs to be looked into with regards to cleanliness and cross contamination too...saw some pretty shady things.

Very nice nail salon. It's higher priced but the equipment is better than most cheaper salons.

I had my first mani-pedi at the Venetian last week and had a wonderful experience! The price was reasonable and Paola took excellent care of me. I will definitely return!

I give the five stars to everyone but one specific person. A little while ago, I had my nails done by a man named John. He seemed ok at first, I wasn't too impressed with his customer service at first but he seemed like your average nail tech (at a not-so-high end place, mind you.) to make it shortish, John answered his phone four separate times for personal phone calls. He made it a point that the fact that he was doing an "ombré nail" on me was not his specific job, but he was doing me a favor by coming in on his day off to do it since I wanted a custom nail design. The whole time during my experience, he barely talked to me- only speaking to me to make it a point that the fact that I wanted to change my original ombré color set to a different one (he only did one nail the way I wanted at the time to make sure I liked it. I didn't wait til he finished the whole set to say I didn't like it) I changed my mind, because my oringial choice I didn't like, and he then made it a point to make sure I knew he was bothered, and that it was a problem for me to change my nail color (to a simple pink and white ombré, mind you) the entire rest of my visit. He also had an interview for a new tech at the time of my appointment, and when that person came in he completely ignored the mistakes he had made on my manicure (uneven nail lengths, saying the shape I wanted was a bother - coffin- and not making each nail such shape, and others) overall, he made my experience awful. I do, however, would like to make it my own point that every single other time that I have come here- the girls and guys (other than the man stated above) have made my time at Venitian nails in Harbour side an absolutely Pleasent experience and I keep coming back for THEIR customer service. Paola, Karina, Marcus, and Sophia are all girls that I've had in the past that have made my experience worth while and what keeps me coming back. The other girls are kind, through, and all around genuine and they are the reason I come back. Not to mention their FANTASTIC work when it comes to nails too. I love this location and I will continue to come back- but only if I get anyone other than the man who made it an absolute point to me that he was a manager there, and that he was doing me a "favor" by doing my nails. Thank you to all the ladies/gentlemen at this location. (Excluding the obvious one) and I will continue visiting this location because of them.
