I primarily visit Jiva for their massage services and am never disappointed. The massages are effective and very relaxing.

Always a sensational delight. Welcoming and relaxing. A chakra massage today and my daughter a facial. Cucumber water and lemon water for us as we wait by the fire to relax away from the hair salon business.

Everything about this place makes you feel like you're being luxuriously pampered, just not at price you'd expect. You're greeted upon entering by the hostesses, offered a beverage, and have the opportunity to look around. The only real ding I have is there isn't anywhere to sit up front while waiting for your appointment.
I went in for a haircut and was greeted by the very effervescent Sara. I won't bore you with the details other than we discussed what to do with my hair. To my surprise (it's been a few years since I've been here) I was offered a neck massage. While it wasn't going to work out the tension in my neck, it was a nice addition. The "wash" room was dimly lit, cool, and had some soft music. Good space to relax for a moment and get your hair washed.
Fast forward through most of the cut, Sara took into account my propensity to not actually style my hair and gave me a cut that would work well with my low effort mantra. Offered me styling tips at the end and suggested some products, but wasn't pushy about it.
All in all, I like the cut, Sara was great (easy to talk with), and I couldn't beat the price for the amount of service I received. I live out of state and for the amount of services I received today, I would easily have paid 3 times as much. I definitely recommend Jiva and I'll stop in for a cut next time I'm in town.
