If you want a relaxing experience with good customer service, do NOT go here. My mom and I were so excited to go here this morning. I made an appointment for us a few days in advance. We both wanted a manicure and pedicure. Unfortunately, no one in there was friendly or even looked at us. They acted as if we were a major inconvenience. The nail techs doing our pedicures were extremely rough and careless. They just rushed us through and talked to each other loudly the entire time. We could not relax. They did not pay any attention to what they were doing - only looked at each other the whole time having their very loud conversation. We decided NOT to stay for the manicure because it was such an unpleasant experience. We will never go back again.

I am usually pleased with the quality of care & treatment @ this establishment; however, today was an exception. I called and made an appointment with a specific technician…I arrived a few minutes early and was taken to a technician station which I had stated I never wanted to do my nails again. (I had this technician once before and had a very negative experience with her.) I tried to get up and leave this station but was bullied into staying. The same sour-faced, rude technician started working on my nails…she was rough, pulled my hands several times, and while using the electric filing tool nicked my thumb and three fingers. She acted totally exasperated and looked at me scornfully as though it were my fault—-trust me, I did not move. She never apologized…just pulled my hand and continued with the process. She put tips on my nails after I instructed her otherwise and she simply could not comprehend I did not want tips…I finally gave up and let her do the tips. When I tried to explain I wanted the tips a bit shorter - she basically ignored me and continued on. During my hour and 20 minute visit, she did not speak to me at all…when it came time to pay, I asked for her name and she became quite indignant and muttered something unintelligible and when I asked her to write it down…she stayed an emphatic “no” and told me to go away and gestured with her hands toward the door. (This is after I paid and even gave the ungrateful, unskilled person a tip.) I simply wanted her name so that I never ever get stuck with this technician again.
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had here. I’m usually so pleased. Please figure out who this technician is and reprimand her.
I will continue coming back as long as I never have her again!

The worst French tip pedicure I have ever had! The first nail technician didn’t get all the white polish off under the line on a few nails so there was a cloudy film, they asked if it was just how my toenails were and one tech walked by and said that’s why I should have had gel! Then they had two different people fix the toes that were messed up. Later when I was walking outside, I noticed the top coat on the ones that were fixed was different, so some of them were natural looking and the others had a purple tent. I go back in and request a refund, to which they said they don’t do, they would only fix them. Then they try to just put a pink top coat over all of them, nope, not the fix. They take all the polish off and start over and the end result are jagged white tips! I don’t have all day to spend at a nail salon. I will never return to this one. Clearly many of their techs at Kevin’s Nails North Shoppes do not know how to do a French Tip pedicure!
