I used to be a regular at Jimmy's for at least the last 3 years. I even started bringing a friend who lives about 20m away which means clearly I'm supportive of the business. The first time we were walk-ins. They took care of us right away, however when a customer came in who had an appointment, they asked my friend to wait on finishing bc they had to honor the appointment. We totally understood and we were both happy in the end. As Vday approached, I made appointments for the 2 of us so we wouldn't have issues this time. When we arrived the place was packed. I expressed we had appointments to which we were told ok sit down. We waited a few minutes to see if the same courtesy would be extended to our appointments as the last time for the other patrons. They were not. We were barely acknowledged and nobody mentioned waiting a few minutes or any type of indication that our appointments would be honored. I proceeded to make a call to Annie's nails in Harriman to see if they could take us immediately. BOTH Peter and Jimmy were there and heard me call and said nothing.. At Annie's, they took VERY good care of us. I will never return to Jimmy's. I should mention that I am African American and all the patrons that were being catered to were White. I hate to say it, but I felt discriminated against and as a professional who knows better, I will spend my green money where it is appreciated.

They did not use clean tools on me, and poured the acetone that they soaked my nails in back into the bottle. Also, my manicure didn’t even last a week before it chipped. Not going back.

Jimmy Nails was very clean and the customer service was wonderful.... I appreciate the water that was offered when I began to cough from the nail dust particles (upgraded tables with fans would be an addition needed to prevent that).... In my opinion of my pedicure the tech could have handled my feet better. She touch my foot like it was raw chicken... But overall my visit was pleasantly nice. When asked how did I hear about this nail salon by Jimmy I told him I read the Google reviews. His respond was if you experience an issue please share so that it can be corrected. I can respect this as a professional constructive criticism can improve business which is always welcomed.
