This place used to be good, but now I go across the street to LA Nails next to Fresh Market. La nails salon is nicer, cleaner, and has better nails techs than here.

I've been trying this place out because I just moved to FL and its right near my house. But honestly, I'd rather drive to Daytona than get my nails done here ever again. I've tried acrylic, tips, even just regular gel polish; every time they come out, my nails are thick and uneven and each finger is a completely different shape. I just recently went in for just a simple gel manicure; This woman didn't even remove all the remaining polish on my nails to start with! She didn't push my cuticles back or tend to them at all, the color is totally uneven, the polish itself was ALL over my hands, and she didn't even massage my hands after. Not to mention the customer service there is awful! The lady walked away after telling me to wash my hands a final time, and when I was done I couldn't even find her and ended up waiting 10 extra minutes to pay after asking where in the world she'd gone! in the end, I ended up paying $18 for a SIMPLE GEL MANICURE that a 5 year old could have done better. NEVER coming here again.

WORST nail salon ever!!! I don't even know where to begin.... I tell the lady I'd like to have my fake nails removed and to have a manicure with gel nail polish. She makes me wait with the remover for over 30 mins. She then comes back to what I thought was removing my nails, but she didn't realize they were fake? She then removes them by filing them down and starts to hurt when I show pain she just smiles and laughs. Needless to say I still have part of the fake nails on my natural nails because she was too lazy? She starts to continue as if she's done and going to put the gel on. I reminded her about the manicure. She then states she's in a hurry because she needs to pick up her grandson? I wish she would have told me when I first came in. I could have waited for someone else to help me or come back at a better time. She starts to do the manicure and cuts my finger pretty bad and start to bleed. Thankfully after that was done she started to paint my nails with the gel polish. She asks what colour I'd like. I told her a shade of red. I thought like a normal salon they have colours to choose from? I guess this place only had one as she started to put a bright, ugly red on my nails. I honestly didn't care at this point , I just wanted to leave. She then offers to do an eyebrow wax... which I thought she had no time for? I declined... Plus my nails aren't even smooth. I had to come home and fix them myself. I honestly could have done a better job doing them myself. This was the first time I have ever NOT tipped in a salon. I really wish I could give no stars. Sorry so long and negative. :( Just wanted to warn anyone thinking of going here.

I have been going to New York Nails for over a decade. New techs can be hit or miss on how much I love them- but the ones who have been there are awesome.

Literally stopped going to this nail salon because of horrible service in the past, I had heard they remodeled and figure I check it out since it is close to my house, hoping service changed as well. Very wrong. The older man who did my nails today was very rude, no conversation at all. Did not keep the original shape I had asked for. Also, I wanted one nail hold the rest red for each hand, in the end when he was applying the top coat he continues to get the gold polish all over one of the other red nails. He then asks oh I got it on there it's okay? No? It is not okay that is not what I asked for. It looked a mess. The shape was awful. He sat me at a hand dryer when all was finished, did not tell me how long to sit there nor said thank you or anything. I sat for about ten minutes and waited for maybe a goodbye or any direction when I see he has been working on another customer. Never again will I go to this salon, very sad seeing as how I love the owner. Her employees do not reflect her and her talent at all. Do not recommend at all.
