This place is small on the inside, but nice and usually busy, so I recommend making an appointment and not walking-in.
The lady that usually does my nails is named Lynn and she is the absolute best nail tech I have ever had. I have a problem with getting cut, but Lynn has been doing my nails all year and hasn't cut me once. Another lady that works there did my nails once when Lynn was busy, she was rough and I was not happy with her work. I get solar and I go in once a month for fills. When Lynn does my nails they always last well beyond a month but I get them monthly anyway because they are so grown out at that point. When the other lady did my nails they started having lifts after about two weeks.
I also really like that this place doesn't charge as much as most salons. I think they charge $35 for a new set of solar and $25 for pink and white fills. I would recommend getting a gel finish instead of a buffed finish because it looks better and also makes them last longer. Some places don't offer gel, but this place has it and will do it for an extra $3.They do charge about $10 to take your old nails off (some places don't), but you shouldn't need a new set more than once every six months so it's not that big of a deal. They also have a large selection of color solar if you want color tips and it only costs $2-3 more.

I've been to this salon about 5 times, simply due to the convenient location within walking distance of my job. I've had the following experiences: WAXING: I've had my eyebrows/lips waxed twice. Both times she took skin off my upper lip, and I had an ugly scab the next morning. These 2 times were at least a year apart from each other, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the first hackjob a bad day for them. Nope. Same thing happened again. And she still couldn't shape my brows in a remotely attractive way. They are always in a hurry to get my waxing done. I understand that salons get busy, but you don't rush through a wax to the point where you don't apply enough wax to keep skin from being yanked off. You also don't do a crappy job just because you are on a time crunch. POOR SERVICE & RUDE:
The LAST time I got my nails done here, I pulled a picture of the style that I wanted: Pointed (back when that was the new/in thing), with subtle, sparkle "ombre" from the top of the nail, fading into the midsection of the nail. I asked him first if he was able to do it. He said yes. What I got were ugly oval nails with the most horrendous "gold" (brassy yellow) glitter throughout the nail. The worst part of the appointment was now the nail tech kept asking if "I was sure" about what I had asked him to do, and that I was "GOING TO BE STUCK" with it. He said this at least 3-4 times. I kept thinking he was going to do something to make my nails look remotely like the picture I'd shown him, but he didn't. I was OKAY with the work he did, until he berated me with how ugly he apparently thought it was by the end of the appointment. What I showed him in the picture was BEAUTIFUL. What he did to my nails looked trashy and hideous. I didn't even want them redoing my nails, so I paid and left, and will never go there for any services ever again.

Love Kim, been going here for years, about 12 to be sure, she is the best nail stylist to me in Denton, been in Denton for 13 years, I have try several other places in Denton, but for a good reason wouldn't least she has been in Denton for several years and to me that`s more than enough, the job may not be always what you expect, but she will corrected, because just like other business no business is perfect.

Worst nail place I have ever been too. The man who works there did my pedicure didn't even paint half of my big toe. My acrylic nails were ever worse. Uneven and the color was so light you could see my nail through it. Horrible experience. Never go here.

My nails look great, 1st time there and the ladies knew everyone coming in by name! That to me alone says A LOT.
