I’ve been going to star nails since I moved to College Station about 3 years ago, but after my experience yesterday I won’t be back. Henry was completely rude the entire time he was helping me. All I wanted was a refill on my TWO WEEK OLD NAILS. I went in with a picture (simple french tip with silver in the center). He was annoyed as soon as he saw the picture. He insisted I start over with a new set even though my old set was brand new. Only had them 2 weeks. Then instead of doing a simple french tip with powder & using silver nail polish, he used 3 different powder colors. He used a pink glitter instead of silver. Not at all what I asked for. He didn’t soak my old nails. Just ripped them off. Terribly painful. Made a rude comment to my face about how I was sitting in the chair. Completely unprofessional. Then I got my ticket and it was $60!!! I went in for something that should’ve cost about $30. Then when I spoke to management they did absolutely nothing about it. Terrible customer service.

Tammy did my nail and toes. I about fail asleep with her doing massages on my feet and legs and more with the the massage to my hands and arms!! She did a great job! I will be asking for her again.

They are AMAZING. Everyone that has done my nails takes their time to make sure they are perfect. I’ve never had an issue. If Hailey is there, I will ask for her next time. She did an excellent job and was so sweet to my 5 year old daughter while doing her nails.

I have been using this salon since January and didn’t have a problem until this last set. I had a fill done and while they weren’t perfect, they weren’t bad.. until three days later when I had not one, not two but three coming off. I made an appointment to get them fixed the following day, and one of them actually fell off in my sleep. When I went in, I told them I wanted them all refilled since there was clearly a bonding/not enough glue issue and if three already were falling off they were probably all compromised. They did not want to do that, only fill the three. At first they argued and wanted to just give me a discount but I was adamant and stood my ground so (I’m assuming the owner) finally relented. Then they couldn’t find the color used and wanted to charge me a color change fee because they couldn’t find it? Lol no. I literally had to argue and have the most tense manicure because of the lack of compassion. I get mistakes happen, but the atrocious customer service and blatant disregard for professionalism has made me an ex customer. I started going to Color Nails? right across Texas by Bahama Bucks and my new set is flawless and they were oh so welcoming. Just save yourself money and a god awful hassle and skip this joint.

My eyebrows were fine, my nails the guy kept getting upset at me when I would remind (3 times total) him I wanted dip powder and rounded nails. He kept trying to give me solar and square nails. The lady who did my pedicure was great even though she did not speak English.
