I went there for school and all the time got my hair done, waxes and tented my eyebrows. Loved it, everyone was so kind and helpful they are highly recommended In my book.

I went there for highlights and a haircut. Spent 2 hours getting my hair washed and combed and another hour getting highlights. The highlights were way uneven on each side and there no highlights in the back of my hair. Went back the next day to have them fix it. The girl put so much bleach in my hair it was leaking out of the foils. After she washed my hair she told me they could not blow dry my hair because it was not incuded in todays services, so i left in the freezing cold with wet hair, went home and blow dryed and my hair was falling out in clumps. The highlights are still uneven with no highlights in the back. They have the worst customer service, I will never go back there again!!!

I had no idea that there was a Cosmetology school in the KC metro area that offered CIDESCO, but was very please to find out Independence College of Cosmetology does. When I went to the location, I was able to meet Linda (the Director), and I fell in love. She is the sweetest, most knowledgeable woman I have met. She gave me the history of the school and I could tell, there is so much passion and heart. It was fun to hear the family history of how and when her mom and dad started the college. They also offer financial aid, in-house financing with no interest. When she says, "when our graduates are successful, we are successful", I really believe she means that! You will just have to go in and meet her for yourself and get the tour of the school. I would recommend this school to anyone, because...like I said, there is so much passion and heart there.

I called and made 3 appointments for my 2 daughters and myself manicures and a pedicure they called me and cancelled all 3 of the appointments 2 hours before the appointment. Not very happy we won't be going there ever.

I don't get the bad reviews I mean me and my brother and his kids we all come here because it's cheap and hey and you know that's what you got to do nowadays I'm not paying that kind of money for a haircut this place does acceptable job I don't see the big hissy fit
