I had an appointment at Hair Co. for an eyebrow and lip wax and I was a couple minutes early because it was my first time ever being there. When I walked into Hair Co., neither Jenny nor the other lady working there greeted me for the first few minutes that I was there. They just carried on their conversation even though the other lady definitely saw me come through the front door because I saw her look up at me. After a couple minutes, Jenny walked over, greeted me, and got me checked in. Then we go back to the wax room and Jenny begins to wax my lip (after I had left I noticed that she still left quite a bit of hair and did not wax it all). A few hours earlier when I had called to schedule my appointment, I told Jenny that my eyebrows were fine and that they just needed to be touched up a little bit. So at my appointment Jenny begins to do my eyebrows without telling me that she was about to start waxing them, and I could tell she was beginning to take too much off my left side, so I reminded her saying that, "I don't want my eyebrows any thinner, I just want them cleaned up a little bit." And Jenny begins saying that she's not making them any thinner, just cleaning up the top and bottom of them. And Jenny proceeds to tell me that she likes my eyebrows and wishes she had them and said they're nice. She finishes my left eyebrow and hands me the mirror and says, "See? I'm just cleaning them up and defining the arches." My left eyebrow was definitely quite a bit thinner than what I had came in there with but it looked okay so I let her do my right eyebrow thinking that she would at least make both eyebrows the same exact shape and size. When she was done with my right eyebrow I looked in the mirror again and that eye brow was not thin like she made my left one and she had taken too much off the top of it! And she didn't even wax in-between my two eyebrows! $16 for this terrible waxing service is highway robbery!!
Update: So I tried going to Hair Co. two days later to talk with a manager and they were closed at 1:00PM on a Saturday. What salon or hair place is closed on a Saturday? You would think that Saturday's would be when they get their most service, but no, they were closed on a Saturday. So the following week I called Hair Co. three different times to talk with a manager and each time I called the people I spoke with would just give me the run-around. They said the manager wasn't there, so I asked the name of the manager and each time I called I was told a different name. So basically, don't go to Hair Co. to get your eyebrows done by Jenny. Better yet, don't go to Hair Co. at all! Save your money and go somewhere that will actually do a good job and provide good customer service!
