I went here to try out something new after my stylist left the salon I had been going to. Set up an appointment with Kelsey. I’ll preface by saying the salon itself is clean and comfortable. I do understand that styling hair is just as much art as science and all people make mistakes. I’m basing my review on the fact Mindy used incredibly deceptive business tactics and Kelsey’s choice not to display professional integrity.
Kelsey suggested a heavy highlight to work towards the color I wanted; however my hair ended up very damaged with severe breakage. Mindy, the owner, offered to treat my hair at 3 appointments over 3 weeks as well as a refund of half of what I paid with the remainder being paid when I returned the following Tuesday for my appointment. She made this offer in person while looking at my hair.
I was called the morning I was to return the first time by Mindy. I was told none of the agreement would be honored, but that I could spend additional money to have another stylist attempt to fix the mistake. Kelsey had suggested my hair had been compromised before the service but I was not informed at the time of service and was not offered a waiver to sign. If my hair was damaged or compromised it was obviously highly irresponsible to proceed with the service which was several hundred dollars. Kelsey also made a comment about the service that it was lucky I had the “nice, shiny” curly hair and not “coarse” curly hair whixh made me really uncomfortable.
All communication has broken down and the salon has not made any efforts to remedy the situation. I unfortunately paid cash so can not dispute the charges. This salon was generally dishonest, both Mindy not honoring the agreement to remedy the situation and Kelsey regarding my hair history, and showed no concern for their mistake. I was made to feel like my opinion didn’t matter and I was unwelcome for all the wrong reasons. I’ve been left to spend hundreds elsewhere to repair the
damage.

One of the best experiences I've had while getting my hair done. Kelsey was my stylist and I believe after today that I'll no longer be a salon hopper! Not only was Kelsey so incredibly knowledgeable and talented, she's also fun, friendly and extremely personable! She took the time to really consult with me and was always updating me with each new process that she preformed. The salon is bright and beautiful with the nicest staff ever! I rarely leave reviews however, reading so many positive reviews for Cloud 9 was actually why I called to schedule in the first place. I ended up seeing an old friend while I was at the salon and when she was finished getting her hair cut and colored it LITERALLY looked the best that I had ever seen it look. If you're wanting a new hair dresser give Cloud 9 the chance that it deserves.

Anna is the new nail technician and she did a mani for me 15 days ago and it is still perfect. The only problem is that my nails are growing and the polish is moving away from cuticles. However, I intend to keep the polish on until I absolutely have to remove. This was a gel polish and I don't know what she did that was different but I highly recommend her. Kudos

I love Cloud 9 so much! I see Kim every time and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Every time I come in, everyone is so nice and friendly. Kim does my hair perfect every time and I always am in love with it. She’s so friendly and engaging and is amazing at what she does. I walk out feeling like a new woman every time! I gotta post a selfie on Instagram with my new hair each time I go. I definitely recommend Cloud 9!
