This place is awesome cheaper than other places. They are also very clean. Love nails do construction for a living so they do them tough and pretty.

I didn't give it a 5 due to me asking her to not trim my nails down and we didn't communicate real well. The manicure and gel polish was good. Cost, $26 which is reasonable.

A very dear and special friend treated me and himself to a pedicure this morning!
This was Darrell's first time and he enjoyed himself. 😃
His doctor recommended that he have a pedicure.
The 2 ladies who gave us our pedicures were friendly, courteous and thorough.
I love the "new deluxe" pedicure goodies.
I chose Lavender and I'll choose Lavender again !!!!
Darrell knew this is where I always go.
I like the new layout of the salon and the new manicure tables.

In short- my nails look pretty good & cost about $10 less than most Portland salons, but the experience was not great & I wouldn't go back.
I'm sure they're nice people and they did decent work at a very reasonable rate, but the atmosphere was not relaxing or enjoyable.
The shop is cluttered, piles of product packaging, tattered old magazines, food, and miscellaneous household items crowd every counter and display shelf. (Literally, the glass display case looks like your junk drawer at home) Not unsanitary, necessarily, but not great & I thought if they offered me a beverage (they didn't) I would question drinking it. Which made me wonder why I was letting them do my nails. But as they pulled out their instruments it all seemed fine.
The nail tech seemed like he would rather be anywhere else in the world & kept pulling my arm, twisting my hand & fingers in unnatural ways & would periodically tap my hand and tsk at me as he repositioned my fingers in ways I've never seen in the 15 years I've been getting my nails done. He seemed very frustrated I didn't somehow know what he wanted & we couldn't communicate in the same language. He shaped my nails oval without asking (I came in with them rounded) didn't ask if I wanted them shortened (I did) but I didn't correct him because I just wanted it to be over.

Decent job for a full pink and white nail set but have had a better job done. Lady over filed my nails by the cuticle and left deep ravines on my natural nails.
