Initially, I was beyond exciting about finding this nail shop because I had just moved into town. I had a horrible experience with Kayla, and unfortunately, I will no longer be a customer. Kayla lacks customer service and communication skills. Several times during our session, she left my nails unfinished without communicating what was going on or the next steps. I had to ask someone else what was going on and when they asked Kayla, she responded to her colleague with an attitude and walked away while one of the other workers sat there calling her name. I’ve had to ask her to correct her work, which she does angrily, making asking for basic corrections the most uncomfortable experience. Her attitude is HORRIBLE! I passed on a service I wanted because I wanted the experience to be over just so that I could leave. If I am getting a service that I am paying for while also being a respectful customer, I A LEAST expect the bare minimum, decency and respect.
I don’t if this place has some preconceived notion about the women that patronize their business but I be damned if I spend my hard earned money with a company that doesn't even have the decency to speak when you come on, create a hostile environment, and lacks the ability to communicate during the service while leaving me sitting there like a fool.
I will NEVER recommend your location to anyone.

A few months ago I began going to Bella duchess more consistently. I always call in advance to make an appointment with Ben. I called yesterday to make my 10am appointment for today and the person who answered the phone confirmed. I arrived to my appointment on time only to be told he never spoke to me, I never made an appointment (as if I were lying) and can I wait for him to do someone else’s nails first?? No, I cannot wait and that was the reason for me making an appointment in the first place. I left very disappointed in Bella duchess. You all need to develop an effective method for taking and keeping up with appointments!

HONORING the work they do is America way to please their customers. On Friday, I was there when they first opened for a pedi and manicures. By Friday evening, my nail chipped. On Sunday, not only did three more chipped, they broke off. I stopped In Monday evening to show the manager how my thumb was chipping and showed her how the rest of them looked and explained how they were chipping since Friday. Her reply, I can only re-do your thumb. Are you kidding me? Was my reply. I did not create a scene because they think that we are hostile type people anyway. What I am not going to do is spend my money with you and allow you to treat me like an animal. Wrong person. I know that Black consumers are the reason this is a billion dollar industry. If I did it in 2020, during the pandemic and I saved $2400...not including tips for the entire year at $100.00 every two weeks. Of course, it's not okay to not re-do a job that did not last 24 hours. Our dollars are powerful and it is time for Black people to allow our dollars to speak another language. Help me by not going to FIRST Bella Duchess Nail Spa, Stockbridge, GA. Secondly, the NEXT place that treat you as such. Make it known and we'll join in with you. Let's stop saying it's okay by continuing to spend our dollars at these type businesses.
