The staff are pretty friendly and take decent care of you. The first time I went, it was alright. My pedicure was done nicely. The second time, I had a real crunch for time so they worked well with me to last minute give me an appointment which fit my schedule perfectly! I really appreciated it. However, during my pedicure I was cut on my left big toe. At the time I didn’t really realize it, I thought he was just a little aggressive. The day after, I went to Universal, finally figuring out it was infected because of how much pain I was in. It was incredibly swollen. It took a few days for it to clear up with some Epsom salts, leaving a gnarly callous where the swelling occurred and the cut was. Two stars for friendliness and willing to work with your schedule. If you decide to go here, be sure to tell them to be careful on the cutting!

Best place to get a pedicure and full set. The service is outstanding. They really do provide 5 star service. No rush job here. I love my nails and my husband enjoyed his as well. Thank you Star Nails.

I originally went here because I noticed that they had the highest google rating in the area. I have been getting my nails done religiously twice a month for over 10 years. This is, by far, the worst my nails have ever been done. That's saying a lot because I've had them done better at a nail school in West palm. First, I was sat down by the man to soak off my nexgen, he practically threw the towel in my face and he rushed off into the back room and left me to soak my nails. He would rush back and check them every 10 minutes and then hurry into the back room again. Finally he sat down and finished removing the remainder of the gel from my nails. He threw 3 rings of the colors available for nexgen in front of me and rushed back into the back room. Then the woman told me to get into her nail station because she would be working on me. I showed her the colors I picked and asked her very carefully if she could do ombre with these colors. She said yes and then commented how pretty the colors were that I chose. She continued to chit chat and try to keep my attention away from how bad she was messing up. She wiped off the nexgen about five times from one of my nails and said it's because she wanted them to be perfect. Serves me right for giving her the benefit of the doubt. I knew from the start that she was going to screw up my nails. My pinky nail is about 3 times thicker than all my other nails because she kept screwing it up and doing it over. I was charged $50 for some really ugly nexgen ombre. If she didn't know how to do it, then she should have said so from the beginning instead of trying to get my money. I've never in my life paid that much for such horrible service. Oh wait, I almost forgot, they were nice enough to give me a bottle of water...that was room temperature! Room temperature in Florida is just short of being soup. Terrible place! I wish I could give them negative stars. Didn't help that a young girl sitting there getting g her nails done, who seemed like she's a regular because I overheard them speaking about how nice the girls mom is, felt like having an opinion and tried defending them by saying my nails looked nice. No, they do not! I'm a completely unsatisfied customer. I will never go back and I will never recommend. Shame on you for taking money from a dissatisfied customer.

The whole staff especially Vivian is very kind and wonderful at what she does! Will definitely be making this my regular spot!
