Recently moved to the area, was looking for a great and clean nail salon. I found them on Instagram. I booked my appointment online (such a great feature) and had my very first nail appointment with Kane. Would give them more stars if allowed! The facility is clean and the music they play is great. Kane was a perfectionist and honestly these are my favorite set of nails I’ve ever had. Excellent job Luxe Nail Studio! I will for sure be back every two weeks! 👏🏼

I enjoyed my visit to the salon. The interior is seriously beautiful and clean. Everyone is super welcoming! I was impressed to see individual packets of tools used l, which means they’re disinfected/sterilized. Penny did my nails, and she was very pleasant and helpful. I was planning to do the regular manicure ($20) but was convinced to do no-chip ($40). I had never previously tried no chip and wanted the manicure to last more than 5 days. It was an easy process and I love the look of my nails! Very clean and classy. My only complaint is that more of my cuticle skin could have been cut off. Im pretty picky about that, but otherwise I would love to come back!! The color is “bubble bath”.

Today was my first time visiting this nail salon. What should have been a relaxing experience quickly turned into an unpleasant one. I was repeatly told (not recommended) that I should get the dip powder because of my thin nails. After explaining to the nail tech that my thin nails are genetic and I also prefer the no chip polish, she continued to push her claim. Moving on to my pedicure, the guy really made me feel insecure about the shape of my feet and toes. He describe them as "interesting" assuming that would be less insulting. Overall, this experience was unsatisfactory and I will not be returning.

I am sad to leave this review. I have been a loyal customer for quite a few years and I have never had a bad experience like this one today. I will not mention the name of my technician because the salon will know who he was, and because he was my only technician so far for years and he was always great so maybe today he had a bad day and took it out on me. Their fill in with gel powder is 30 and he told me its $45. I asked why and i don’t remember paying like that before, he said because it was bad and he has to fix a lot although he just did a new set 3 weeks ago and he said its special color. Which is fine and I laughed and said I will have to do something different next time because I don’t think I could afford that. That’s when the things went downhill. He started to be very rough and fast and upon taking old gel off he pulled so hard that i felt a stab in my nail and i pulled my hand away. I literally was hiding my face because i had tears in my eyes and i didnt want anybody to see that. He did not ask if i was ok or if it hurt, he just went on. I came back home and was in tears and not only that it hurts but because the experience was so unpleasant. In the end he did charge me $30 and did a good job as always but i have a bad taste in my mouth now and would not want to return anymore.

Quickly fit me plus two family members in when we were driving back from Chicago and had a short window of time in Wheaton. Two pedicures and one no chip manicure and everyone was very happy! Pleasant, friendly staff, clean facility and lots of color options. Chose this place based on the Google reviews and I'm glad we went there. Would return.
