I've been to Vanessa Nails several times. They are located across from Southtown Plaza on Jefferson Rd. The facility is larger than the average nail salon and very clean. The waiting area is cramped which is odd because they have so much space to work with. The staff (Tammy, Marlene, Mindy and Ben) is friendly and professional with attention to detail. They tend to be a bit busy on weekends even when booking an appointment. I scheduled two pedicures for 4:00 pm and our service began at 4:40 pm. The pedicure was nice, foot massage amazing. Total bill for two spa pedicures, one with gel polish and designs and a fill overlay on my natural nails with designs was $92.00 plus tip. Overall good experience. Stop by and check them out.

Went for an appointment with two other people on a Thursday night. I had gel on so it needed to be taken off; she took forever just to start the process and put the remover with tin foil on. Eventually she put it on. It didn’t sit long enough so she had to use the electric filler to take off the old gel paint. She filled my nails down so much that the tips were like a sheet of paper. . She then was so rough that she made 2 cuticles bleed. She also only put kn 2 coats of gel paint, which the norm is 3. She should have put more than 3 on considering the amount of nail she filled down. She rushed me out of there and was not friendly about it. Will not be going to this place ever, and would not recommend it.

This place is excellant. Owner very nice, stayed late to do my nails. Conversation was stimulating. Music very relaxing. Will be back

WORST first acrylic nail experience! This nail place is seriously under-staffed with only 3 people working. My friend and I who went came later in the day, so that could have been the reason. WARNING: Do not get your nails done with the man working at this place. He has a horrible attitude and is rude. He drilled my nails much more than needed. Dug into the sides of my fingers with his nails, overly aggressive with handling my hands. Did he use lotion? Nope. Hand sanitizer? Nope. Nothing. My nails look nice, but the process of having my nails done was awful.
