I went into Scott J Aveda Salon on Friday after a DIY hair color disaster using Overtone. I was pleased with how completely professional the business was with cleanliness standards in light of COVID-19. The did a temperature scan, provided masks to every client, gave disposable single use coverings instead of traditional multi use aprons, and used disposable towels in place of the regular towels. Everyone was polite, professional, and held sanitary measures to a high standard without sacrificing their customer service or quality.
As for my personal hair experience, I was told by several other salons that bleaching would be required to remove the pink dye from my previously platinum hair. However, Dawn worked her magic and managed to completely get rid of all of the splotchy pink without bleach, all the while leaving my hair soft and feeling quite healthy and undamaged. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I had a wonderful experience with her. I knew immediately I was in great hands and I highly recommend her as a stylist.

Steve, as always, did a fabulous job of cutting my hair. The new CovID protocols were great and at no time did I feel in anyway compromised.

Lovely experience. I’ve received haircuts from Skye and Daniela on separate occasions (I booked based on availability for that day) and they were both excellent.
The atmosphere is very relaxing - they offer water or tea (in real mugs!), have an awesome playlist, and there is a natural vibe, both from the smells of the Aveda products and the earthy tones of the decor. The staff is professional, sweet, and efficient. When I walk in I feel like I’ve entered a little haven of calm in the midst of the city.
Skye gave me a beautiful gloss and haircut and Daniela was impressively quick while not at all feeling rushed. I also bought a few products recommended based on my particular hair needs which I look forward to trying. My hair feels healthy and full. Will go back again!

I stopped in for hair products to enhance volume. As I walked in to this busy salon, a sales person raced to the counter to help me. This young man (Stephen) with great looking hair (lots of volume!) asked me how he could help and guided me through the Pure Abundance line. I bought two products: one I knew and liked (a spray named Style-Prep) and one Stephen recommended (a powder named Hair Potion). The powdered product intrigued me, especially after Stephen demonstrated how to reconstitute and use it. I'm here to give a rave review to Pure Abundance products, which I love (Wow, what a little powder can do to increase volume!) and to Stephen, who was absolutely delightful. Stephen was not pushy, never overbearing, but kind, enthusiastic, and helpful. Aveda Salon, keep this guy and promote him! He's a gem.

I suffered a traumatic hair experience elsewhere and had half of my hair burnt off due to an inexperienced colorist. I was referred by a friend to your salon and told to ask for David. Needless to say I now call him the hair whisperer. His patience and skill are unlike any stylist I have ever encountered. Between his warm, easygoing personality and overwhelming amount of talent I would never go to anyone else ever again. Not only has he repaired the damage he's done an amazing job at it. I wholeheartedly recommend him 100%.
