Black persons, this is the place to get a haircut (other races are welcome - I observed clients of all types, including men, women and children). The barbers here do fantastic job. I called and made an appointment two weeks in advance. When I got there, the barber got to me quickly. Cash only, and my barber charged $20. Be mindful that the shop does not have its own parking lot, so get there at least 10 mins early to figure parking out. There is street parking right outside the shop, but you know how that can go in Portland...

Miss Toni is not only amazingly talented but wonderful to talk with! She is the kind of woman you feel comfortable with right away because she has such a loving energy about Her! My daughter was estatic with the way Her hair looked when we left! I called to rebook and Miss Toni remembered my daughter and has a few ideas already to try! Amazing customer service! I could go on and on!! The only regret I have is waiting so long because I paid 1/3 what I thought I would pay! Will be a long time regular from now on!!

Appt: 2pm for 3 hr braiding.
Arrived 1:20 pm at salon.
Reception : Wait for 15 min n she’ll be with you.
2:45 pm: Stylist: Oh, I didn’t know my 2 pm was here.
Starts braiding hair at 2:45 pm
5:45 pm end of braiding
Receptionist: What are the charges
Stylist: This is a 4 hr braiding.
Receptionist: It’s gonna be $$$$$ for four hr braiding. 2:45-5:45 is a four hour braiding???????
Receptionist : Would you like to leave a tip?
