Great food and great service in a run down restaurant, especially the outdoor area. Bricks are moldy and dirty. Tables are old and railings needs good power washing. In fact the whole outdoor area is in need of a facelift and a good cleaning. Hopefully this is done sooner than later because we enjoy going there.

Wow... very clean, staff is friendly and inviting. There hamburgers are a must have when visiting. The have a beautiful landscaped outdoor patio as well. If you find yourself looking for a spot in Newtown to grab an awesome meal, affordable prices as well as an awesome experience this would be the spot.

Very friendly owner and staff! We love the steak skewers, garlic parmesan wings, and happy hour specials! Outdoor patio is a great place to chill.

Mostly mediocre for the things I have tried. I have heard their soups are really good but have yet to try them. Best pace I have tried in town for American food, but there isn't anything specific to make it stand out.

This place was acclaimed to be a really great restaurant. I had reserved a table for a large party on a Friday night. I called to say we would be running a bit late. When we arrived, it turned out that someone had taken our table! Luckily, the rest of the restaurant was empty (how do we know someone took our reservation? Our waiter said the other party said they were us) Ordering was tedious. The waitress brought out food without giving us proper instruction as to what was what. Even upon asking, nothing was clear. My brother ordered iced tea and got black tea that they had made with ice in it! He ordered a sandwich (the namesake) and got bread that was entirely and crisply burnt. The good wasn't great, the service was poor especially since the place wasn't packed, and the ambiance was okay. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants a family meal or a get together with friends. It just isn't worth the extravagant cost either!!
