My first two visits were great, I loved it. Yvette and Katie would not cut my cuticles,would use special files, creams to remove them. It was amazing.
Yesterday, it was my 3rd time at the salon and it was disappointing. The girl that did my manicure did the simpliest job, filed, cut my cuticles and polished my nails. That's it for $25 ???? I can do it myself !!! When you pay $25 , you would expect special ttratment, something different than you can do yourself, right?
Then I was told that they just hire people with experience only and do not train them to salon standards.
Wait, so why would you charge $25 for manicure? Just because the rent is more expensive on oak street ?
When you go to salon on Oak st. , you would expect something something different than at a typical salon where you pay $15 to have yoir nails filed, and cuticles cut.

The best pedicures in the city, hands-down. And I am a very picky client. Relaxing beautiful environment, immaculate tools and baths, and the loveliest staff! Can't be beat!

Still the absolute best place to get a no chip mani and pedi in Chicago. Seriously, the products used are great, the salon is pristine, and the attentiveness of the nail technicians is like none other.
