About two months ago sunny nails became owned under new management, and this is where the unprofessionalism and lack of technique set in. Mind you, I have been going to Sunny nails since 2008 (when Michelle was the owner) and I never had a complaint during those 10 years. With the new owners, the change in management seemed a little sneaky. But I still give them the benefit of the doubt and got a pedicure and an acrylic/gel full set with tips. The pedicure was lackluster. The nail polish was in a glob on my nails. However, I didn’t see it clearly until I got home so I didn’t say anything. The acrylic set (which had no special designs) took nearly 90 minutes and I had to keep coaching the nail technician through the application because the tips didn’t look natural. Also there are spots on the edges where he missed polish and I was never given a manicure. (My cuticles and nail bed are atrocious). Now just two days after I got my nails done they have already begun to chip. Which is not supposed to happen with gel polish. To that point, although I was a long time sunny nails customer, I will no longer be.

This place is the best—45 dollars for gel mani and regular pedi, and it never chips! They always do a great job.

I have been going to Sunny for years and I love it. Michelle and Victoria (the owners) do great work and they're friendly. They really take the time to get to know their clients. Whenever I go, I always feel like I'm hanging out with friends. The prices are reasonable, the shop is clean & they are talented nail artists. I sometimes go in with pictures of things I want to try and Michelle is always ready and excited to do something out of the box. They do a great job with regular manicures as well as more funky styles.
