First off, I have known the owners of the Academy for several years and they are down home, hard working, humble people. The place is clean, professional, and has a friendly atmosphere. I have become a regular customer and get my haircut once a week since I like to keep my hair short. Brooke Peterson has been my "go to" when she is available. She has regularly cut my hair with the same expertise that I would have expected from a barber with 20+ yrs experience. She is very engaging and easy to talk to. When she graduates from the Academy, I know she will be a GREAT asset to the salon in which she decides to work.

Hays Academy is the best cosmetology school you could possibly go to. This place completely changed my life within the year that I was there. The instructors and owners are literally angels sent from heaven above.

Shana Reed is awesome! She trimmed my hair for me, which I’m also so nervous about because I don’t like my length taken away! She did an amazing job! Highly recommend her for any services you may need!

Cheyenne Monasmith has done a great job for her Mama on every visit..most recently my festive manicure! Getting a lot of compliments from my friends who have visited her at the salon for the very reasonable services provided! The atmosphere is always buzzing!

Brittney was my stylist on October 23rd. My experience was very easy and enjoyable. I always get a fade haircut, and Brittney was in training. She was very detailed and was assisted by Ashley. It took longer than I'm used to, but it was well worth it! Brittney did a fantastic job! I also got my hair washed and a scalp massage. I always like having the clipped hair washed off. I will be going back to Brittney again! I already scheduled it for 2 weeks out. Great job Brittney and Hays Academy!
