Unprofessional to say the least. Worst experience ever. I'm new to the Decatur area and needed a new hairdresser. I wanted to start going lighter. I had medium to dark brown hair. I now have uneven brassy blonde hair with dark roots. When I first walked in I did not feel welcome. The girl at the counter barely acknowledged me and didn't bother telling the girl doing my hair that I had arrived. The girl doing makeup on a client stopped what she was doing and notified her I was there. Once I was seen the girl doing my hair barely spoke two words to me. She had the girl at the front desk help her when she initially started working on my hair. The girl from the front desk started making rude comments like "if we had a better canvas to work with" and "what we do today will be better than what you had...you poor thing going around with hair like that". Never have I been more humiliated. After the first process I couldn't hold the tears back and told the girl I was scheduled with that I just wanted to wash what had been done out, pay and leave. I spoke with her boss and she apologized and offered a discount and that they didn't want me to leave in that condition. So I gave them a second chance. My hair looks horrendous. I understand that my end goal could not be achieved in one visit. I knew that before I made the appointment and informed the girl on the phone what they would be working with but to walk out of there in tears because my hair is worse then when I walked in there is just ridiculous. With a 25% discount for the terrible service I still paid more than I did back in Springfield. Without a discount it would have been a $200 bill or more. Now I have to find another salon today and pay who knows how much...if anyone is willing to work on it.

I love Capelli's Studio & Spa! I've been going for a year now getting regular massages from Andrea D. She is amazing! She provides a great experience and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time. She also meets with you prior to the massage and goes over any areas of concern so she can make sure to focus or treat those areas properly. The staff, environment and overall experience at Capelli's is wonderful. I highly recommend them for any spa or hair services.

I have never had a better experience anywhere else. I've been going here since day #1 and would never go anywhere else. Never leave disappointed, from kids haircuts, my wedding, massages, my hair color, and any other service here. So professional and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone.

Everyone is super friendly. Andrea does amazing massages and Jordan does an awesome eyebrow wax. Don't go anywhere else!

Had two good experiences at this place, however, after my third experience I will NOT be going back. I wanted to attempt a new hairstyle as well as go lighter for my hair. I've always done dark so I wanted to try something new. I tell the girl what I want but the girl discourages me from doing it and when it came time to cut my hair, which was an undercut, the way they styled it had me beyond disappointed. I was so discouraged by my hair that i had my amazing mother fix it for me and the way she styled and colored my hair the way I really wanted it made me feel so much better. So tell me how does a place like this that charges over $100 for a crappy job on someone else's hair need to be fixed by plain Jane run of the mill store bought hair color and a cheap pair of scissors do a WAY better job than this place? That's pretty sad to me. I paid way to much money for this and in truth I should have been refunded all the way around.
