Pros:Their prices are the same as most. They do a pretty good job Cons: Their hours are sporadic so you cannot count on them being there. The posted phone number is disconnected so it is difficult to get them on the phone. They give walk-ins priority and then keep preset appointment clients waiting. All considered, there are better run places with equivalent prices, equivalent or better quality mani /pedi's, that are far more reliable. If you happen to be in Meijer and there is availability in the salon you will likely get a decent mani/pedi, but do not count on them.

The atmosphere is much improved by some recent renovations that removed the cheesy beach mural from the back wall and replaced it with a sensible gray and plum color scheme. They have excellent massage chairs for their pedicure clients and beat most other salons in price by a few bucks. The staff is okay, but they will always try to "upsell" you on something. If you're getting a set of nails put on and just want a simple french manicure paint job, they will try to talk you into glitter and flowers and glued on jewels. This happened to me when I went in for a set of gels prior to my wedding. I kept insisting that I wanted to keep it simple, but the tech painted on flowers and glitter and blinged the nails on my ring fingers before I finally just wouldn't give her my hands back unless she agreed to stop. We laughed about my "ghetto" nails, but they're in all of my pictures and that type of thing really isn't me. I felt like it was done against my will. On my most recent visit, I went in for a pedicure and the tech asked if I wanted polish on my nails. I tried to decline and said "that's okay" which she apparently interpreted as my consent. When I was done getting my toes done, she led me over to one of the manicure stations. I didn't want to be rude, so I just let it happen. It turned out to be one of the worst paint jobs I've ever seen. The polish (China Glaze in High Hopes) was old and thickened and didn't apply evenly. The tech didn't get the color to the edges of my nails and the filing was done with a heavy emery board that left my nails with ragged edges that never got smoothed. I'm removing it immediately. Also, the polish selection at this place is below average. They have a single rack of colors to choose from, and they don't tend to stock the newest, most trendy colors.
