I was very displeased with my eyebrow wax experience and called to file a formal complaint, which was met with extremely professional and generous customer service via manager Ruth. Still not sure if I can recommend eyebrows from here but the Brazilian wax was great and I’m sure their other services are good too.

I have been at Eve spa for the past three years and I must say my appointments are always timely. My wax specialist Kavita is polite and considerate with my busy NYC schedule, she makes healthy suggestions for skin care products. I luv it! Most of all the spa is extremely clean and easy to reach via MTA.

The place is clean, calm, and quiet. It feels kinda like a day spa (not the chaotic environment of Maya). I asked if they took walk-ins, and the woman at the front desk was very kind while seeing if they had someone available. I waited maybe 5-10 mins (very short, considering I didn't have an appt) and Laura walked me back to a waxing room. She recommended using a combination of soft and hard waxes (for $53, a middle price between using all soft or all hard wax). Knowing the pain in store after not getting a Brazilian for almost 6 months, I took her advice. She was incredibly fast and skilled, even on the most painful bits. Ten minutes later, I was done and walking out.
