I should have known to leave after she started using a clear liquid to help put on the acrylic powder.
There’s actually a few things that made me raise my brows. I’ve been to enough nail salons to know what usually needs to be done. Besides the liquid she used being clear;
- she used a fake nail to take off the set I previously had, didn’t soak them like how you’re supposed to when a customer has acrylic nails.
- She never filed the fake nail to match my real nail and so the acrylic would stay on longer.
- She never told me to wash my hands after filing the acrylic down, she just brushed all the leftovers off
- there was acrylic residue on all my fingers from when she was putting acrylic on my nails.
- there’s bumps if you look closely at the nails.
- I paid for gel, and gel usually lasts a long time. It’s already chipping off.
- my nails are already lifting and it’s barely been a week since I got them done. It started to lift on the 5th day I had them.
I paid $43 for my nails and gave a $5 tip because I actually liked my set at first.
She also kept insisting that my friend and I should get pedicures, but we declined each time.
And most of you might be wondering why my friend and I didn’t just go to a different nail salon. Thing is, my friend and I already went to 2 different nail salons and they were both packed and the wait would have been 1-2 hours wait. We had other plans after getting our nails done and I also had work later that evening. It was also raining on and off that day. We drove all the way out here since she (my friend) said this is the usual spot she goes to whenever she wants her nails done. I said I’d give it a try, but I regret it now. They couldn’t even do the nude to white ombré nails that my friend wanted to do, so she had to do a basic color instead. For that place to look THAT nice/boujee looking, I thought they would have certain things such as colored foil for nail decor.

I've been going here for about 13 years. Even moving out of the area & trying new shops I still end up back here.

*This is a late review, as I gave birth 2 days after my visit!*
On 2/24/18 I took my daughter & niece here, so they could each get a full set of acrylic nails. The salons cleanliness was questionable, but we were able to overlook that, since we are new to the area and wanted to try a place close to home....they chose nail polish, which appeared old and dry (and later chipped off easily).
After application, My daughter asked the lady who did her nails to clean up around her fingers; clearly there’s glue all around her fingers. She told her it was dry skin and to use oil.
My biggest gripe is the price. As you can see, a full set price is $25. We were charged $40, because of the length my daughter chose. If the price can differ, it should clearly state it. The sign should read, “Full Set......$25-$??”
Also, my daughter’s nails began coming off within 48 hours, which was disappointing to her. Poor workmanship.

The women that work here are extremely friendly and great at what they do. I also love the fact that they have a menu and are very up front with their pricing.

I went in for a pedicure manicure and that nice chair massage to relax after a week of work. And I was very happy with the massage and I was rich so relaxed I didn't realize that the pedicure failed to actually get rid of the painful areas where I needed help on my feet. And the manicure failed to remove the hard skin on my calluses from working so hard I've tried to call so maybe they could just fix it for me I mean I did pay cash money but maybe I just won't go back.
