Best place to go for waxing. Family run. Both mother and daughter make the process quick pain less with great results. Very clean place with friendly people.

I was looking for a waxing & manicure/pedicure place close to Sea Bright. Where to go...? How can I do this economically?? My friend told me about Nidia's in WLB, and that it's the only place she goes. (She gets constant Brazilians, so she investigated for the cheapest around.) She is used to many different salons, cleanliness, etc. and not picky, but has high standards. It was easy to take her advice; I'm so glad I did.
Now I go there exclusively in the summer (though not as frequently since I've moved from the area). They are a super sweet, family-run business. Once, while I was there, the daughter ( I can't remember her name) asked if she could pause in between coats to watch her son. He was right on the field next to salon parading for Halloween. It was heart-warming. I appreciate a family owned business.
It's very busy in the summer, as to be expected. (Everyone at the shore is.) If you're looking for spa-like decor, find it elsewhere or go to a spa. If you want a fantastic place, friendly people (year 'round, but not summer patrons whipping out their phones) at very reasonable prices, make that appt. Don't forget to in the summer, b/c all the N.Y.ers know about it too!
