Went to get my nails filled here for the first time after usually going to Jackees in Ventnor. Waited forty minutes to be seen despite having an appointment while returning clients without appointments were taken as walk ins. When I was finally seen, they insisted I had gel acrylic when it was powder and told me that they were going to charge me three extra dollars for it. I said it was powder and She was persistent so I just let her work. Then as she put powder acrylic on my nails, and I let her know she would be using gel acrylic if that’s really what she thought it was. She agreed and took the upcharge away after she realized I knew what I was talking about. It also was two dollars to get them cut down shorter ! I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but two weeks later things have gone from bad to way way worse. I was taking my acrylics off at home preparing to get a fresh set at Jackees (I wouldn’t go back here after all the desperate attempts to upcharge me). As I took my nails off, I noticed that I had a case of the “greenies” for the first time ever. This can be caused by contaminated tools/files, or improper trimming and sanitizing of a lifted acrylic. Now I need prescription antibiotics to get rid of it , and the nail has to grow out with no polish or acrylic which will take MONTHS. So to conclude: I waited fourty minutes for a scheduled appointment, they tried to upcharge me by 6 dollars when the cost of a fill is 12, they aren’t experienced or clean, and now I have a BACTERIAL INFECTION under my nails and must wait 4 MONTHS until they fully grow out again to even wear nail polish. you would get cleaner, more honest, and more professional service from a blind homeless man.

Lily is very fast and knows how I like my nails, I don't even tell her what to do.
