I’ve been coming here for years, before they were even NY Nails. This will be my last time here. I got a pedicure and my person didn’t speak a WORD to me. Acted like I should know what he’s doing next. It’s like having a MIME give you a pedicure. Then you have a Johnny Depp look alike walking around with a cigarette hanging from his mouth and proceeds to spit in the sink and rinse it quick. Cute eh?
I understand the language barrier between most here, but very very unprofessional. I felt super uncomfortable.
AND now the Johnny look alike is finishing my pedicure with no gloves or a mask on. He just coughed on my foot. Doesn’t this go against the health department in any way shape or form?

After moving from the city we’re I had the same nail stylist for 10 years to Schenectady We’re I had to start all over I was very stressed about not finding a good spot ... 2 of my friends end up telling me about this place so I decided to give it a try after going there today for the first time it’s not that bad it’s pretty clean ...they have a lot of gel and powered colors to choose from ... the only reason I don’t give them a five stars the one lady that paint my toes made it a little streaky and while she was doing my hand a guy walked in and wanted a female to do his pedicure so she let a male finish up my hands while she went and worked on his I didn’t mind to much because I felt like the guy was better and took his time also don’t be afraid to tell them exactly what you want because when you tell them they do it

The one & only time I went here to get gel nails removed & a new set on. The lady doing mine must have been new or something. She didn't know how to remove gel nails, I had to ask her to soak them off with remover, then she didn't even know how to turn the nail filing machine on, then it was going way to high and she made my nails super thin. Someone was watching her the whole time and actually came over after she filed most of my nails super thin to turn down the machine. Will never go here again. My new gel nails we're "okay".

I’ve been to this nail salon many times before in the past two years but yesterday will be the last time. I called yesterday morning to schedule an appt to have my nails and eyelashes done. I arrived the at NY Nail at the time I was suppose to and they start working on my nails. About 45 mins after my nails were done I had to get up and remind the owner that I still wanted my eye lashes done as well. At this time the ONE lady that they have there that knows how to do lashes is doing someone else nails and tells the owner that she will not do my eyelashes for me because I can’t keep my eyes open. I was so appalled and couldn’t believe that a business was denying me for there service I was paying for. I’ve never experienced anything so unprofessional before.

I absolutely adore this place. As long as you tell them what you want they will always do it. I’m always highly satisfied when I leave. They have wonderful staff.
