This was my first visit to Salon 5th Ave and I am in love! The Salon is very chic and the staff is so friendly. I was offered tea/water upon my arrival. My stylist was Serena, she was very personable and took time to go over pictures and discuss my hair needs. She highlighted my hair using balayage technique and covered my base with a color that worked perfectly with my skin tone. The salon uses high end products like Kevin Murphy which I’m in love with and even use it on their back bar. Serena took extra time to make certain my hair was conditioned with an extra treatment of olaplex(another product i love). You definitely get quality service here. My hair was blown out and styled beautifully. I will definitely be returning and will refer my friends alike. You want to be pampered when getting your hair done and this salon and stylist has it down perfectly.

I love this salon and especially love getting my hair done by Santiago! My hair is healthier alf longer thanks to the wonderful care that I get with Santiago!

I had a fantastic experience today with Mr. Darius. I have been going to him for over 2 years now and have never left unhappy. He makes me feel beautiful every time. He listens to what I ask for and is so professional. He has a great sense of humor and always makes you feel welcome and at home. I will continue to go to him until I am old and gray!! :)

The guy I got did not speak English so when I told him what I wanted or what I was sort of looking for, he could not understand a word. Literally nothing. Ridiculous. I ended up having to use his phone to show him the kind of the haircut I was looking for, and I wasn't even sure. Figure for $47 plus tip this is a place you can go in not 100% sure about. I told him I am growing my hair out so don't take much off the top... he probably took an inch off the top setting me back over a month. They also did not offer a shave and for $47 this was a ripoff. It wasn't even close to being worth it, and I used a groupon. Ignore this place it's phony. I want my money back and more importantly I want my hair back.
