My new favorite place. I used to go to galaxy, but had a bad experience everytime. Dont let appearances fool you. Just because Galaxy nails looks nicer, doesn't mean that it is, or the staff is. I am leaving friendly nails genuinely happy with my new full set and pedicure. They were so nice and gave me exactly what I wanted.

This was to be a special experience for me and my daughter, as I was treating her to a rare professional nail salon experience. Well, it WAS memorable, but I wish it had just been manageable...
The tech named Lee, who had provided decent service to me previously, became a monster before our eyes! She snapped at my daughter when my daughter revealed an ignorance of acrylic vs. gel nails. And I became almost fearful for lives, as I questioned the obvious difference in shades we'd requested, vs. what was in the bottle marked with the same # as the display. Noxious smoke practically billowed from her ears and nose, and her eyes narrowed to tiny, crimson slits, glaring at me, refusing to respond to my earnest,mild toned question, if she found the two distinctively different shades even close to the same color; one very gray, one very pink... I apologized if she took my question personally, and suggested that the bottle had been mislabeled... Nothing... no response other than the glaring eyes, leaving me and my daughter, stuttering out scared apologies (when, but for my daughter's presence in what was supposed to have been a special, fun time, what I would have done in sheer reflex action would have been to slap that horribly threatening face all the way to the floor!)...Finally, in a loud, demanding, obviously infuriated tone, Lee demanded, "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?"
I'd like to share a very wise, little statement with Lee, and a VERY UNFRIENDLY Nail Salon...:
There is only one boss; the customer! And he/she can fire everybody in the company, from the CEO on down, simply by spending their $ elsewhere!
