Ladies!!!! I know a ton of you were like me, new to the area and trying to find a new salon. Trust me I get it, I had been to two different salons here in anchorage and was getting frustrated and annoyed with the lack of talent. However, I ran into some beautiful ladies who recommended I try out Shelley at Yu Beauty, I finally did and I’m so thankful. Shelley did an amazing job fixing my hair that another salon messed up. Thank you thank you!!! I have finally found my new salon!!

My appointment was moved to another stylist. New stylist did not introduce herself. She cut only ends of my hair instead of creating layers as instructed. She dropped scissors and hair dryer attachment on the floor multiple times where everyone walks in street shoes and proceeded to use them on my hair.
Giving 3 stars because front desk service was exceptional and secondary stylist that washed my hair knew what she was doing and had great customer service skills.

Painful!! I would avoid this place if you dont want to waste your money. I went in to get my bangs fixed, some layers added and for color. Now, my bangs look the same, my hair looks the same, and the color is not visible in any light. What did I pay for? I guess I paid her to bruise my scalp and hurt me. She was so rough with her eagle talons, no matter how many times I said ow. Now, I have to go somewhere else to get my hair actually done. Overpriced to begin with, and sucked anyway. So not worth it.
