Got the spa pedicure with my sister and was great. Awesome leg and foot massage. Very nice technicians. 😃

I am with Amy on this. My guess is that despite the high rent, they don't have a lot of business and therefore try to "soak" everyone that walks in the door trying to get you to wax, thread, manicure etc.... I have also fallen victim to their swindling tactics (guessing it's the manager that's making the girls do that). I am very defiant and tell them NO when I don't want something done.
If it weren't for that, I would give them 4 stars as I have had a few manicures that lasted well and the girls who give the chair massages and leg/foot massages are WONDERFUL!

After a recommendation from the concierge at my hotel, I visited this salon. I went in for a manicure but agreed to a mani/pedi combo special of $29. I should never had agreed to the special because all the technician did was upsell eveything...gel polish (ok), Asian Green Tea pedi (no) but did upgrade the pedi to a deluxe. My $29 went up dramatically to $85. To make matters worse, the technician advised me that I needed to tip 20%! Seriously, a tip should be at the discretion of the customer.
If you want the special, you need to be firm on the service. Beware that you will be required to pay 20% tip. Not good customer service!

Place was decent and clean. My pedi was great and quick. The mani however was the worst I've ever had. The girl cut my nails to the bone (they were admittedly too long) then filed the tops of my fingers so hard she cut the skin in multiple places. I asked repeatedly to please just file the nails, not my hands. She didn't understand. Same thing with the cuticles - she did it so hard and scraped down to the first bend in my finger. She cut the skin away from my nail on several nails before I just asked her (nicely) to stop. Overall, bad experience and my skin is in shambles!

Exactly as it looks but great value. 65 for an hour long massage.
