Long wait time , decent pedi mani does not last owner speaks sharply to customers won’t go back .

This place sucks. I came in to get my fake nails off and the women that did it, made it the most painful experience. She didn't even file down the fake nail. She used clippers to get to the edges and tried to rip it off. I flinched one time and she said, "It hurts huh." I said, Yes!." She wasn't even sorry or even slowed down or be gentle. She kept going. When i got home, i discovered she cut half of my nail getting down to my FINGER. I have a picture, but I don't think I can add it. Do not go there! Very unprofessional.

I’ve gone to happiness nails since they opened years ago. I believe management or ownership recently changed, and it sure does show. I went two days ago, mid-day on a Monday, during a real quiet time. The ambulance was nice. But the gal who appears to be in charge really rushed me along. I had a regular pedicure, then acrylic nails. She was doing my fingernails, and not a very good job, not filing well around the corners nor underneath my nails. The main problem was that she rushed me through before my pedicure was dry. I even asked if I could wait in the chair a little longer to be sure they were dry, but no, she wanted to rush me through. It made no sense; there were no more than a couple other customers in there, so no reason to rush. So I had to return again today to get my pedicure fixed-as I knee, it was not dry enough. The polish they had used was very dried out, and I chose that after looking at several other colors that were gloppy. So today I figured I should switch to a different color while they fixed their poor job. The disappointment was they charged me full price for this. So in 2 1/2 days time, I’ve had to pay twice to just get a simple pedi. This is my last trip there, I will not be returning. I certainly do not recommend happiness nails any longer. “Happiness” has been replaced by “miserable” and “chinch”. If you’re a long-term customer you can see the decline in their service. The woman in charge was also quite unfriendly and rude. I’m glad to be out of there for the last time.

They accidentally gave me a gel manicure instead of a polish change and I couldn’t even be angry because it was genuinely the best manicure I’ve had in awhile

Sitting in the chair with my feet in cold water for 30 min and still no service....are you kidding me?! I'd rather stick with my old place in Clairemont and get my more expensive pedicure because YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR....#cheapsestpedicureeverandshowsit
