Kristen is amazing! Followed her from another salon - along with all of my friends. She’s a pro when it comes to blonde. It’s really an art to getting it right. She also gives me an awesome cut to make stying my hair a breeze. People stop me all the time to ask me who does my hair - it’s Kristen Chilcot!

Katie does an outstanding job of both running the salon and managing her client's needs. I'm guilty of letting my busy schedule impact consistent upkeep with my cut and color, but even if I'm a few weeks (or months..who's counting) behind Katie always gets my hair back on track. I have a short bob and it can be a challenging cut, but I receive compliments regularly on how great my hair looks - that's surely no thanks to my styling, but rather to the amazing cut and color I receive at Utopia.

I love the girls at Utopia! They are always friendly and take such good care of my hair! I like to change colors and hairstyles often. Katie always does a great job blending my color and I always get compliments on my hair cut. I was out just the other night at a Durham Bulls game and a lady tapped me on the shoulder and said, "you have the cutest hair cut!" I live in Raleigh but always make time to drive to Utopia to get my hair done.

Love getting my hair done at Utopia Salon! Katie always knows how to make a girl feel good about herself! My cut and color always looks amazing! She even takes time out of her busy schedule to teach me how to style my hair as well! LOVE her and all the girls at Utopia!

Anytime I'm back in my hometown, I always visit Utopia for my beauty needs. I decided it's finally time to write a review and spread the love. (Side note: I couldn't help but notice the person's ridiculous review below mine. Sadly this person has no idea what she is talking about and she should probably educate herself on products and the beauty industry before she speaks. I mean what does "products are not real" even mean? This client probably showed up with black box dye on her hair and expected the stylist to perform an instantaneous hair miracle (for free) on her subpar hair!) Anyways...
The reasons I love this salon are that I am always welcomed by a friendly staff, I feel like we are all family here, and of course, my hair is on point! During my last visit to Utopia, I had my hair color enhanced with a fabulous blowdry style...I received tons of compliments on my hair (like always)! I can't wait to visit NC again and see the Utopia girls.
