If I could leave no stars I would and if I could leave a negative number as a review I would!!! Absolutely horrible customer service by the a few of the UN-professional's that are cutting hair!! I called earlier in the week and said I would be needing an updo on Saturday. The women said no appointment needed just stop in! Well I did that about a half hour ago and I could have been treated any more poorly if they tried. Women behind the desk was totally confused when I asked for an updo and I got "well how long is your hair" "ummmm let see who will hve time for you...." i put my hair down and was looked at with such disgust I should have walked out right then and there. Then a very poorly dressed "stylist" walks over and was like well they start at $35 I said yes I know I always come before a family memebers wedding to get my hair done. The women asked what I wanted. I said a small French braid in the front into a bun, nothing too crazy. So then I turned around to get my daughter situated so she was ok when I was getting my hair done and she said well actually I forgot she just changed the price to start at $55. I said that was odd that she JUST happened to remember that and said what I wanted was not worth $55 or more so I wasn't interested any more.
I have also had completely horrible trims done there as well so that is why I originally stopped going here.They have no idea how to TRIM curly hair. I thought just maybe they could handle an updo though....
If you can't handle a trim or working with a customer that wants a fairly simple updo than obviously you are in the wrong buisness.
I 100% do no recommend wasting your money at the Montgomery Fantastic Cuts.

I honestly don't mind paying the $20 to have an average hair cut, but after tonight I don't think I'll be returning. I showed up at around 7:40 fully understanding the shop closes at 8:00. There was 1 woman cutting hair (she's cut my hair before and has done fine) and she was cutting a woman's hair. I walked in and politely asked if they'd have time for a cut - I get a very simple men's haircut, it takes 5 minutes at most. I was told "nope we're closing" by the woman working the desk. The door was wide open, open signs were on, and there was nobody waiting in line. Again, I don't mind paying what I consider to be fairly pricey for average service, but when you are so quick to turn away my business - without even asking the hairdresser if SHE had time or wanted to - I think I'll take my business elsewhere from now on.

One star is too many , was denied service because my hair was too curly , and it was a hour and 15 minutes before closing . Two woman just sitting playing on their phones said they couldn't do my hair because they had no straightener second woman said she couldn't do my hair it was too curly and long never in my life been told they don't have equipment at a salon for haircuts nor could they do my hair because it was too long and curly . Will be following up with manager in the morning if there is one at this point. .
