I broke out like crazy immediately after going here. The person who did me also put on a "colour match" sunscreen thing on my face. This made me look like an oompa loompa because in fact this "colour match" technology does not work on people paler than paper (what a surprise)! I told her repeatedly that I don't want it to be colour match, but she didn't listen and decided to use it on me anyways. In addition, she said she would use the jade roller on my face and then give it to me to take home. She didn't use the jade roller, and I didn't receive one for home. The person at the front seemed surprised and concerned when he heard she said that we would get the jade roller for free. I would not recommend this overpriced place to anyone. Although it may have been popular many years ago, this doesn't mean that their current methods meet up to today's standards. The woman who did my face not only did not take out the acne, but she ended up causing more acne. She also did not include a sample of the moisturizer which she promised me. I would never return here even if I got to come here for free. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've been through. In addition, I felt like all they were trying to do was to sell me their overpriced products. The woman who did me kept telling me that I "have to buy" this $60 cleanser they sell that actually dried out my skin a lot (as well as some other products, some she didn't even use on my face)!! (FYI, yes I am still battling the acne that this place caused.)
THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE SO CHEAP ON GROUPON RIGHT NOW.

They booked me for the time I wanted and then called back the day before my appointment saying they can't do that time anymore... very unprofessional. I was going to be in LA from out of town and had specifically set out a time for my appt at the spa but with them being inconsiderate they cancelled that appointment and offered me two times that wouldn't work for me. Didn't try to make up for anything. Very unhappy.. and I was looking forward to going here too.

1.) They first told me they were booked up with the appointments for the Bathing Ritual.
2.) Then they took my appointment saying they weren't booked up at all but the baths were shut down for maintenance.
3.) Then they said I was the first appointment for the baths because they will be back up and running for the first time on the day of my appointment.
4.) Then the day of my appointment they contact me and told me the baths were still not open for customers and still under construction. They offered me a FOOT bath instead and swore it would be the same experience.
5.) The ridiculous foot bath that I could do in my own home, was so much cheaper than the Bathing ritual. It was the worst spa experience ever. The Foot bath was such a huge waste of money.
I had someone visiting from another country and this was suppose to be a special experience, we could have done something better. We didn't even have privacy, some stranger walked in during our experience. The spa tried to make up for it by giving us travel size samples. I probably won't ever go back.
The foot bath was the equivalent of a nail salon peti soak where you stick your feet in a plastic container with a bag in it.

Enjoyed our spa day definitely recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and the spa is so clean.

Wow...Had planned a special Valentines day with my wife. We were eating lunch next door almost ready for our spa ritual and they called and cancelled our appointment. They came up with a couple of ridiculous excuses but ultimately someone more important must have come along. I have scheduled the appointment 2 days in advance. What a terrible company.
