My wife and I came to Arizona for a great vacation. We enjoyed a 4 day motorcycle trip with friends. We then traveled south to Tucson and stayed at the La Posada Lodge. I am writing this review from the semi private back patio with grassy area. We were very pleased with our stay. We rented Casitas C1 for 3 nights. This oversized room/studio was great. The pool and Jacuzzi area was very nice as well as the rest of the grounds. Great staff and good free hot breakfast too. I would consider this resort a bit rustic but with all the modern touches. When I am back in town again I would not hesitate to book another stay.

My mother took me here for a staycation for my birthday and it was just lovely. Room was very clean and really liked the decor, nice balcony you can sit out on, great breakfast, fridge and microwave in the room, close to a lot of restaurants that deliver, pool was crowded, not very many stations on the tv, wish there was a tub in the bathroom, but very little complaints. Would love to stay at one of the casitas next time. Great experience overall.

The good outweighs the bad. Yes, it’s dated, but sometimes shiny and new is not the best. The Casita is big, adequate, I love it.
I like being in back of the main building except parking my truck far away, especially with signing all the waivers saying La Posada is not responsible for damage or break in to vehicles. Put more cameras up or maybe I didn’t notice that many.
The clerk was, shall I say, unique. A little argumentative regarding the security fee. I don’t mind a $50 hold “Everywhere else charges $100” I was told.
My issue was the price was different than I reserved, a simple misunderstanding, take a chill pill. And yes, I adhere to all policies, I detest smoking and I do take offense when someone thinks I’ll smoke and break the rules.
It must be allowed somewhere as I smelled smoke when I walked out of my room.
I thought I’d enjoy my morning bagel/coffee next to the pool with the water fall-denied, big old chain around the gate. Seriously? We sign waivers, we are responsible and assume our own risks, don’t chain off the pool and ruin a peaceful morning, please. Overall the little touches were nice, thank you.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Clean rooms, friendly staff,and reasonable prices. The free breakfast was delicious and an added bonus. Very close to all shops and restaurants including one on site. It was a wonderful experience.

It's nice very clean but very wishwashy on there police when it comes to there breakfast and I think they should have their pool open tell at least 10pm if not 11pm and for the most part they have reasonable rates and I live the fact that they don't bother u over and over when u have to check out
