After 7 years of going to see Mariel, she finally has her own salon!!! Best in class service, style, atmosphere, plus the caring nature of Mariel. She always has the style, color and cut on point. Beyond her expertise in women’s hair, we come for her ability with extensions. Jenns hair does not grow, so she started extensions 8 years ago, but it wasn’t until she met Mariel that her life changed.
Salon 3636 is the culmination of Mariels years of experience and long standing customer base. And there is a reason she has developed the customer for life, personal attention, detail and style at more than affordable prices.

Phil (@faded_by_phil) recently brought his amazing barbering talents to 3636 Salon & Barbershop. I went in today for a haircut and it was great. By far the most relaxing part of my day.

Mariel is a master stylist and a lovely human being! She truly cares about her clients and their needs. Salon 3636 is under new ownership and it has been beautifully updated. The space is cozy, the decor simple but chic and the natural lighting adds the final touch to the best salon Austin has to offer. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment now! The best stylist and the best location! I’ve been going to Mariel for years and love the space at Salon 3636. Really tucked away and personal, always with ample parking and the most cozy feeling inside. Mariel has seen me through SEVERAL hair colors- from fuchsia to blonde to copper, and I can’t imagine going to anyone else!
